My mom has had a wonderful experience at this assisted living home. From the very beginning, the staff has been kind, compassionate, and attentive to her needs. They truly treat the residents with dignity and respect, and it gives our family peace of mind knowing she is in such caring hands. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. I can’t say enough to express my appreciation for the care that Monica and Cornel gave my parents while in their care. My mom was a resident for about 10 years. My Dad followed later. The whole family of Monica and Cornel participated in caring for the residents. They showed a great deal of compassion. The atmosphere is the same as being at home. My mother lived at Desert Joy Assisted living for 6 years after touring several others she loved this care home as it was beautiful and very homely and the family so very caring that are truly loving and compassionate with their patients. It’s like a home environment and not a hospital and Mom loved Monica and she and her husband Cory were so very caring they were like family. My grandparents lived at Desert Joy for nearly 11 years. They had previously been in an assisted living facility before moving into Desert Joy. There is no place better than "Monica's"- Desert Joy Assisted Living. My grandparents were treated like family and Monica and her family became part of our family.
