I loved this place, but i am considering going elsewhere because of the receptionist Jennifer. I am disappointed and sad because I love my therapist, but they will no longer see may business or money. I’ve already given them a few hundred. On the phone she had a demeaning tone then said, “since you are an adult, I need your consent.” After I already gave her my consent, and was just asking for help. At the age of 50 I tried therapy for the 1st time. I just finished up two years of therapy here with Gordon and I think he fixed me! On your first call they ask about your preferences in a therapist. They absolutely delivered with Gordon. I can never thank him enough. Yes, you talk and sometimes cry, but the main thing is that he gave me tools to make sure that when stuff goes sideways I know how to handle it and not spiral. A couple of months ago (2021) I had my first telehealth appointment here. Without first knowing some basic things about me (type of work I do, my home life, etc.) one of therapist had me reading multiple pages of literature aloud and then towards the end of the session assigned literal homework (essay) for me to complete for the next appointment. It's not that I'm opposed to anything that maybe helpful. It's the fact that she neglected to take the the time out and find out that I work nights and had not be to sleep ye going ... read more
