I've been going to Deseret women's health care for 6yrs now and wouldn't think about going anywhere else dr. Juarez is the best and he actually listens to you unlike other dr.s who pretend to listen. He's awesome and I'm not the type to be comfortable to have a male obgyn .
THE BEST! – Dr. Juarez was the first person to do my exam EVER and I was quite scared, not only for me not ever having one, but also since he is a man! He made me feel very comfortable and was very gentle. He went over tons of information with me and made the whole interaction a pleasant one! The next time I went back I saw Dr. Metcaff, and she is just as amazing! She also made me feel comfortable and was quite funny! Definitely worth the drive across town! I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!
Call FIRST! – CONS: The nurses who helped me were rude. After telling me to pee in a cup, they NEVER told me where I was to place the cup after, I thought they would be waiting for me outside the door. They weren't and got mad that I didn't put it behind THEIR desk. I am 20 years old, lost my virginity at 14, and never had a Check up. The dr. said because I am not sexually active currently I dont NEED any tests done and only gave me a pelvic exam. Tell me, what will a pelvic exam do for me?
