Our original Public House has been a vibrant fixture of the downtown Bend, Oregon scene since 1988. Not only were our very first beers brewed here - think Black Butte Porter and Jubelale - but we quickly became a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. We love Deshutes Public House! They have good quality food! Their menu states where they get their meats from! They make the best gluten free bread not frozen; I have never had such good tasting gf bread. My husband and I go quite often and sometimes we take the kids as well. It is very laid back and usually extremely busy on a Fri night which is when we often go however days are not so busy. My husband is a brewer for Deschutes so we love going to the pub with our family and catching the newest beers and delicious food! Everything on the menu is really good, the beer is super thirst-quenching, and the staff is so friendly. Love this place!
We had the most amazing time at Deschutes Brewery while visiting in Bend. I had the Sour Cider and it was delish, as well as the steak sandwich. I almost died and went to heaven. Highly recommend!

One of my favorites when I visit Central Oregon. The food is phenomenal and their beer is amazing. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is great for the entire family. Kids love it too.
