Our roof was done by Derrick French’s roofing & roof has leaked 3 times staining my ceiling. He installed 2 skylights also , which leaked. We asked him to fix it & he came back with tar & caulk & just put more on. Very unsatisfied . We are having to reroof.
I have lived about a mile from this contractor for over 8 years. In that time I have called and left messages requesting quotes for various remodeling jobs and a roof at least half a dozen times. They never called back even once. Now that I want my bathroom redone I won’t bother calling. Maybe he’s good and maybe he’s not. I’ll never know. What I do know is I’ve spent probably $50000 with other contractors in the past 8 years and they are grateful Derrick French can’t use a phone.
Has a high rating on BBB and home adviser. I would not reccomend. Any one who trys to pressure you to sign a contract before showing insurance and tries to strong arm you verbally stay away from. I was lucky I was advised what to do. Dodged a bullet and grateful.
This company is amazing! My house is only about 7 years old and last year the roof started leaking dripping water into our living room. Derrick and one of his crew members came out within days. His assistant was already on the roof and found the issue in like 2 minutes the time it took for Derrick, me and my husband to get to the back yard. It was a small crack in a shingle it required so little of whatever they put in it that we weren't charged. Derrick also gave us very good advice. We have had no more leaking.
