I'm writing this not to downgrade Dr. Urash, but to make people aware it's ok to seek a second opinion. My father went to Dr. Urash at the end of last summer for a small growth on the corner of his mouth, it looked like a pimple. He was given some cream for this growth and was sent home. When he went for his follow up appointments over a 9 month period of time the growth was frozen and had blue light treatments several times but no biopsy was ever done. After reading some of the reviews, I guess I went to a different dermatology center. I have been at the dermatology center many times and have been treated as a friend not just a patient. The staff has shown concern and expertise unparalled in their field. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else to receive dermatology services.
The office staff is HORRIBLE!!! I called for an appointment for my children, one who is covered with a rash that his primary doctor is not sure of what it is. I received attitude on top of attitude from the staff and I quote (it is April 13th) "we are booked this week and ALL the doctors are out next week, (after being put on hold) we can get you an appointment MAY 24th." I had both Medical and cosmetic procedures completed here. I found Dr. Urash and his staff caring and professional. I respected their time and they were very respectful of mine. I had a very minimal wait to check in and out.
I have had sclerotherapy done at this clinic twice.I called recently to have another set of treatment done at this location.The first appointment I had to rescedule because I am a student in college and my criminal justice teacher asked us to come in early for class that day.The second time I no showed because I was in the hospital with a bad case of strep.So yesterday evening I made an appointment again.It was for 8:30 this morning.I called them at 8:00 am to let them know my children were home sick with the strep and I nee... read more
I went in to have a small mole removed (about the size of a straight pin). The Physican Assistant rendered the service; the mole did not fall off (perhaps it was not frozen enough by the PA). I requested a follow-up, I was offered another appointment TWO MONTHS later. When I complained about having paid \$60 (my copay for a specialist--which begs the question--how is a PA considered a dermatology specialist?)--for a service that was not completed in 10 minutes--and not being able to have a follow-up in a timely manner--I was... read more
great family man who cares about his patients and knows what he is doing. IF he does make amistake hewill take the blame and your next visits are free.
