They botched my father’s melanoma surgery so bad, it had to be re-done by surgeons at U of M. Even the dermatologist there admitted that Jackson Dermatology did such a horrible job that the skin smelled with infection and they did not perform the surgery to the specifications for the depth of the cancer in his skin. My mother used to be a patient until they treated her so rudely and always made her wait 1-2 hours for her appointment.
I’ve been here several times and it’s the most unprofessional place I’ve been. After my third and final experience I will never go back. It has gotten increasingly worse every time. I’ve since switched to another dermatologist.
A more comfortable waiting area with a tv would be nice, and prettier bandages. Otherwise a very pleasant experience.
We have waited four weeks for biopsy results that we still don't have. We went to our scheduled appointment, waited an hour to have the medical assistant come in and ask why we were there. When we told her that we were there for biopsy results, she looked very confused. After talking to 3 people, we were told the results weren't in yet but should be there in a day or two. Absolutely the worst experience at a physician office in my life. 2 hour wait to have the doctor come in for truly less than 2 minutes and tell us to come back. No thanks, it was disgraceful to be charged for the appointment.
Not only am I now cancer free but those wonderful people made sure I will have the smallest scar possible. They made my experience as pleasant as they could given the circumstances. Thank you!
Ok, but a phone call a week later is unexceptable. Also I have NEVER been charged a office visit $70.00 to check to see if sutures could be removed. This happened 3 times. $210.00 for an average 2 minute appointment never were removed there. Usually after surgery suture removal is included in the surgery charge. I am continuing my treatment at University of Michigan cancer center. Not happy with with these charges.
