I want to encourage my FB friends and family to go for an annual dermatology appointment. I was bad about going and just had my general practitioner look for suspicious spots but this is a specialty. My dad had some skin cancer so I should know better. Last year, they found a melanoma “in situ” which means Stage 0 (that it hadn’t spread) on my leg and basal cell (pre-cancer) on my face.
