Had the pleasure of having Dr Kim attend to me for my appointment. She was so attentive and extremely friendly and had such a welcoming and sweet personality, I felt seen and heard . Thank you Dr Kim for a great appointment .
Not supportive to patient’s needs
My wife called to request a phone appointment for a simple follow up as she was unable to attend her in person appointment due to her taking me to my cancer chemotherapy session. Being told a phone call follow-up is not possible even under those circumstances is ridiculous. With rescheduling often being months out what is the point of not doing a 5-10 minute call to check in on a patient who otherwise can’t make an in person? This is a mindless and unnecessary policy that needs to be addressed.
I am the sole caregiver to a partner currently undergoing chemotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer. He was diagnosed just a month ago and Sunnybrook hospital is moving at light speed to ensure he receives the treatment. This hospital is the only one in Ontario with the team and skills needed to properly and rapidly treat my partner’s particular cancer.
