Ive been seeing Dr Shanker for many years for an eczema problem. He's been very helpful in controlling this annoying condition. His bedside manner is great and his skills as a physician are great too. He is genuinely concerned about the patient's well being and is a true professional.

I took my Father to Dr. Shanker, MD with what we thought was a simple scab skin irritation. My Father has a history of skin cancer. Dr. Shanker, MD puts a patient at ease, is caring and kind. He says to my Father and I let's pop that right out. He removed the tissue in question, had it analyzed and it turned out to be precancerous cells. Dr. Shanker has been my dermotologist for 4+ years and he's terrific. He's removed pre-cancerous and cancerous 'things', and also takes the time to explain what the benign 'things' are, like...age spots. I've seen him in his office in the Loop and in Grayslake. Kudos to the office staff in both locations, who are so kind and friendly. Also, my medical records are accessible in both offices which makes seeing him at either location a breeze.

I just received the best treatment and attitude from Dr. Shanker. Quickly removed my skin tags painlessly (Well almost!). He was friendly, professional and funny even. I highly recommend him for skin concerns. I shall return when the need arises. Thanks Dr. Shanker.
