I went to meet Dr Means because I was looking for a new PCP. After meeting with him I was elated because I liked him and the way he treated me. He listened to what I said, offered some suggestions but was not pushy. The only negative thing I can say is that he talked very fast. I do plan to go to him again.

Derek Means is pretty direct. Office staff is nice and wait times are pretty low. However, I’ve been struggling with my weight and overall health. They never did the labs I requested. I knew something was off with my thyroid. I got a second opinion from a nurse practitioner, sure enough my A1C and thyroid functions were off. Dr Means already referred me to an unnecessary hematologist and wanted me to see a gastroenterologist for my “bloating”. All these are unnecessary visits and more money.
