I'm so disgusted they are allowed to make money off of the very symptoms their patients come to them to get resolved without actually treating those symptoms. They charge $250 if you don't cancel your appointment within exactly 24 hours. Not only does my ADHD and anxiety issues affect me directly with that but they know l'm a caregiver for not only my mother who is 87 and dealing with degenerative mental issues but also my sister who is 70 and has partial Down's syndrome aka mosaic DS. Hi, I have been receiving a 40.00 bill from this place for 3 years for a missed appointment. I went there 1 time, 3 years ago and they spent a total of 10 minutes talking to me. I was crying during the whole appointment because my mental health was that out of control. I asked for meds I was on while in Iowa that were helpful to me. The doctor felt she knew me best and must be getting cutbacks for pushing certain drugs, and felt I was not the choice for me. I was out of pocket because I lost my job and had no insurance. I had an awful experience at Serenity Mental Health Facility and urge anyone seeking mental health care to consider other providers. My insurance and I were charged $700 for a 30-minute session where I received no real help—just a recommendation to come back in 3 months for further testing. No treatment, no solutions, just delays and a hefty bill. When I called to explain the lack of care and asked Kimberly in billing to waive my portion of the bill, she refused.
