***One star for lack of follow-through and overall informality*** I have no option but to leave a negative review for Derby Door & Window. While we didn’t get a chance to ultimately work with Greg, the owner, he was quite informal and ultimately disappointing to deal with. Greg is a long time local Orlando pro who is trustworthy, professional and fair priced. He can help with doors and windows when you are stuck with existing issues or getting the run around, especially from the big name brands on replacements. We have worked together on several residential projects and would highly recommend!
Thought I needed to get my door reframed based on other company quotes. Called Derby Doors and Windows and spoke with Greg. After sending a few pictures via texts, Greg fixed my simple and free problem within minutes of contacting him. It’s good to know that there are still honest people out there looking out for the average home owner. Greg for my weekend started off in the perfect way!
Greg was Excellent! After Lowes dropped the ball on replacing my interior door for two months then told me it would take two months to get the proper door in, I contacted Derby Doors and Window, brought him my old door and he had a new door cut and ready to go the next day. After he then came to my house and installed real quick. 1000% recommend and a reminder to shop locally with local experience.
Someone broke into my home the other night through the glass insert of my patio door. Thankfully nothing was stolen but I needed to get the broken glass replaced right away.
