We live in Charlotte NC and had been to the Creation Musium and the Ark Encounter so we passed The Kentucky Derby Musium on the way home. It was AWESOME to be able to do all that in three days! Our tour guide at the Derby was extreemly knowledgeable and friendly and she answered all our questions without hesitation. She knew her stuff which made it a very interesting. The tour guides were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. The museum was well organzied, the prices were what I expected. Definitely would recommend the 360 degree movie, very impactful.
This place was wonderful. We did "the works tour" and it was amazing. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. So many things to see, it's a must stop!
What a wonderful adventure!! My four girls (5-12) enjoyed the museum and track as much as my husband and I did. We hope to return soon to catch a race as well.
My Grandmother and I visited yesterday. We enjoyed the tour of Churchill Downs. We also learned a lot about the history of the Kentucky Derby and the Thoroubreds. I enjoyed seeing the track and meeting Twinspire. I'd love to do the barn tour on my next trip up to Louisville. Very enjoyable.
