My husband and I have been going to Fredericksburg for 3 years traditionally for Christmas and this amazing bar is always open! It's definitely the highlight of our trip. Great service, great atmosphere, great service!
Great owners, great cold beer and metal music. The formula doesn't have to be difficult. Just go there, spend a few hours and enjoy.
Try the tic tac shot! Also it's one of the few places you can bring your dog inside!
For us rockers were sometimes hard pressed to find a place that provides the music and ambiance that makes for a great evening...Der Daiwel provided that. Glad we found it during our getaway weekend. Only thought was, its limits as far as capacity...felt like i was in a submarine. Maybe a bigger location ,that could accomodate a small stage, would still allow this bar to thrive yet keep its dive bar charm.
