Very nice people. Nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone in less than an hour holding or get an appt within 2 months of requested appt. And the doctor cancels and I have to do it all over again. What's the point?
This place is a hit or miss. Some professionals are excellent while others are not. For instance, the dentists are great, but the physical therapist is absolutely horrible at his job. The man incites frustration out of his patients seemingly on purpose. The lab staff are pretty good, but their system for appointments is quite flawed. For whomever runs this clinic - you are serving veterans. Do better.
This is the best VA Hospital I have ever been to. Compared to Sepulveda And Wilshire VA hospital this place is top tier. From when you walk in the vibe is calm and comfortable. I have avoid VA hospitals in the past due to rude staff and no compassion. This place is amazing. I want to thank all the staff here from the security guard to the very nice women checking you in. This is how veterans should be treated Ventura VA should be the standard thank you.
Respectful treatment in all aspects of my experience at the Ventura clinic, especially the support staff, from scheduling to lab work and overall attention to my needs. I have not encountered a negative person or felt that my needs were going unmet or ever ignored. Nice experience.
