I scheduled a MRI at Loma Linda for my child in January 2026 for May 5 2026. One week before the scheduled imaging, I was called and told it was cancelled due to lack of outpatient pediatric anesthesia availability. Be wary of scheduling imaging here if you need outpatient pediatric anesthesia, as you may wait months to find out that the procedure can't happen as planned.

Review of Loma Linda Radiology Department I am deeply disappointed with the lack of care and urgency shown by the Radiology Department at Loma Linda. My doctor submitted a STAT order on June 2nd, and it sat untouched for over two weeks. I had to call myself to even find out what the delay was — only to be told that insurance required six consecutive weeks of treatment before approving the MRI. By far the worst radiology department I've ever used. Scheduling is a nightmare, it takes weeks to months for them to review the order and allow you to schedule, with a new excuse every time you call. My MRI took 2 months to finally be approved and allow me to book after numerous excuses such as the order was dated (it was), the order wasn't signed (it was).
