I would not recommend this clinic, particularly Lauren Beltran. I've only been a patient for 3 months, and in that time the relationship went from reasonable to frustrating fast. Early on, they accommodated a 1-2 day early refill of my medication, which is standard and allowed by pharmacy and law up to 3 days early. More recently, that same kind of request was met with accusations of medication mismanagement. Was originally on medicaid and it was going to cover my visit. Medicaid cancelled on me without notice and my appointment was there two days later and they charged me out of pocket without notifying me that my appointment was no longer covered by insurance. When I called they wouldn’t give me a discount or negotiate my outstanding bill, stating “we all must get paid for the work we do.” Meanwhile they charged me for a second over $100 for spending 30 minutes on a computer taking an online assessment.

Your staff are very professional and welcoming. They have always been very nice and respectful, however having said that I don’t think any of them, including your director as competent at their job and you know exactly what I’m talking about. You have violated HIPPA. Under no circumstances that I agree for you to share my information, including details of my care with any foreign or domestic government agencies however, you turn around and did that didn’t you?? I've had nothing but a positive experience with Denver Wellness. I was able to get an initial appointment with a prescriber relatively quickly, was assessed in a timely manner, and my prescriber and I have genuinely good dialogues about my medication and how it's working. It feels collaborative rather than transactional. My insurance was a bit of a hassle for a period, they weren't covering appointments for a while, but Denver Wellness never once brought this up or made it my problem. Absolutely Terrible doctor, if i could give her zero stars I would. I went there to have my 6year old evaluated. After a 30 minute conversation she wanted to put my kid on medication. She offered no other insite other than that. OH and me charged $300. DO NOT GO HERE.
