I was admitted to Rose Hospital after an ER visit 2 years ago. I have been going to Denver Heart since then. After paying over $21k out of pocket, I learned that the Echo, stress tests, etc could have been done for much less if not done at Rose. Yet the front desk continues to schedule me at Rose even after I requested a more cost effective option. This should be criminal. Dr. Hemminger is an amazing cardiologist, so this goes to say that this review is not about him more as it is about office staff for the Swedish location. Mainly one in particular. The Rose and Lakewood office staff are amazing, but this one woman from the Swedish location would be best said to not have the skills to manage making appointments or helping patients. Also, I called this location two years ago to get my heart records for a college leave. When the medical record individual sent me the application to fill out to r... read more

Love Dr. Mehta, but scheduling has something to be desired. When they schedule a patient for noon, and I have to ask a 12:45 from the waiting room if there’s a problem. Then there’s a problem. I didn’t ask for the noon appointment, the time was suggested by the scheduler. While I want every patient to receive the best care, and I’m confident in Dr Mehta, I wish the staff would respect the time I lose while they make me wait.
