I wanted to take the time to do a review for Dr. Murphy. He's truly one of the best doctors that I have ever had. He takes his time, he listens to you/your concerns and he's very thorough. Not a lot of doctors give their patients the time that they need to discuss their care. I was referred to Dr. Murphy by one of my former co-workers. Both my former co-worker and I, live in Colorado Springs & I know that I'll continue to make the trip up to Denver to see him for my rheumatology care. He really listened to me where most doctors dismiss many of my concerns. He respected my opinion and asked knowledgeable questions. I’m not all better by any means but having a doctor who listens to your pain, knows his stuff, and is willing to run tests and look for answers where others shrug and say you have fibromyalgia is refreshing. I've experienced pain and fatigue for almost 7 months with none of the specialists that I have seen offering any relief. Dr. Murphy spent what I considered to be an exceptional amount of time with me to listen to me and understand what my issue was. He recommended additional blood test for evaluation. In the meantime to relieve my pain and discomfort he prescribed a steriod no one else mentioned and within 2 days I was a new man.
