My young adult son is a patient of Dr Thein. She did a screening process and diagnosed him at his initial visit and she has been treating him now for seven months (gradually, with one medication). He's gained much needed weight, sleeping better and his mood has improved drastically. She does not offer therapy but will provide you with a list of local Therapists. We are very grateful for her.
I visited her office right after moving to this area. Dr. Thein did not listen to me when I listed my symptoms. Instead, she made rash judgements and refused to believe that I could benefit from medication (when I have in the past). By far the poorest interaction I have ever had with a mental health professional.
