Note to Ignorant Customer Wow, aren't you a smart one. I find it pathetic that you have found it necessary to criticize and insult the manager. The manager at least knows how to conduct himself like a professional; something that you lack. He responded professionally and appropriately and you lowered yourself to the point of mocking him. Congrats! (By the way your grammar is laughable as well.)
wow well i called in to denton athletics on presidents day and i asked if they were open today, and the employee who answered the phone said in response "well i answered the phone so YES were open today" in a rude manner. so i was just a bit pissed and felt like callling him back and giving him a piece of my mind. and also the service at denton athletics is horrible, they have these teenagers working there that could care less about you and what you have to purchase..
Good days and bad days.... My husband and I shop there all the time. We switch between there, Sports Authority and Academy in Lewisville. We like them all, Academy is our favorite, but my husband hates the drive down there. Denton Athletics for the most part has been there for us, and when we need/want shirts made, they are our go to people - for every sport. Poor Service I have tried multiple times to shop and every time if I need to ask someone something it seems as if it??s a interrupted and get blown off. Specifically the last time I was in the store I have asked about baseball bats trying to upgrade from another high quality bat I had purchased there the year before and they were no help. 3 guys at the back counter gossiping about how they were shipped the wrong shoes from a manufacture and not have to pay for them and charge more than they should for them so they would not ... read more
Lousy Management! Not too smart.... I have a couple complaints...one is that the store is always dirty and a mess, also many items are not labeled with a price, the prices are a little steep, and as the others have stated...they hire dopey teens and college students (probably at minimum wage) and they have NO customer service skills whatsoever. But my biggest complaint would be that the manager of the store would have the gall to defend his lousy management skills on this review site. What kind of manager would be satisfied ... read more
Customer service needs work I went in prepared to spend a large amount. Every time we would ask where something was they would act like we were interrupting their conversation and point. There were 4 or 5 young adults and I couldn't tell who was working and who was visiting. We finally got tired of walking back and forth asking questions and checked out. They would have gotten a bigger sale had they just given us some attention but I guess their conversations were more important.
store manager I am the store manager of Denton Athletics. I just had a customer call and tell me to look at this site, he thought it was something I needed to see. I told him after being in business for just short of seven years having only three people upset enough to go to the computer and blast us was not too bad.To Joel,Sandy and Philip I would tell them I am sorry for their bad experience.
