wow well i called in to denton athletics on presidents day and i asked if they were open today, and the employee who answered the phone said in response "well i answered the phone so YES were open today" in a rude manner. so i was just a bit pissed and felt like callling him back and giving him a piece of my mind. and also the service at denton athletics is horrible, they have these teenagers working there that could care less about you and what you have to purchase..
Lousy customer service It appears that this company only wants team business. The men in particular are rude and not really as knowledgeable as they would have you believe they are. Especially when it comes to baseball and equipment, especially bats. Very protective of what they sell. This is a bad sales trait. They should try and say we carry brand A because it is more beneficial than the other brand B which is also a good product not bashing brand B to the ground. I feel almost insulted while I am in there.
Good days and bad days.... My husband and I shop there all the time. We switch between there, Sports Authority and Academy in Lewisville. We like them all, Academy is our favorite, but my husband hates the drive down there. Denton Athletics for the most part has been there for us, and when we need/want shirts made, they are our go to people - for every sport. What Friendly Service?? I went in to the store around 5:00pm to have three shirts made on the 19th of November. We needed them the next day and knew this would be a hit or miss. I asked the guys in the back, who actually do the pressing, if it would be possible to have the shirts made and they said it was fine. We went up to the front to choose the letters and such and the guy at the shirt desk was unbelieveably rude! Lousy Management! Not too smart.... I have a couple complaints...one is that the store is always dirty and a mess, also many items are not labeled with a price, the prices are a little steep, and as the others have stated...they hire dopey teens and college students (probably at minimum wage) and they have NO customer service skills whatsoever. But my biggest complaint would be that the manager of the store would have the gall to defend his lousy management skills on this review site. What kind of manager would be satisfied ... read more
Great I can always find the uniform and accessories I need for my children's sports....The prices are very good and the inventory is great. I have recommend this store to several of the team mothers.
Best Service around I went there on a saturday to purchase a baseball bat for my 11 year old, the three men in the back were extremely intelligent about the brands that they stocked, I would highly reccomend them to anyone needing sporting goods.
