Customer service needs work I went in prepared to spend a large amount. Every time we would ask where something was they would act like we were interrupting their conversation and point. There were 4 or 5 young adults and I couldn't tell who was working and who was visiting. We finally got tired of walking back and forth asking questions and checked out. They would have gotten a bigger sale had they just given us some attention but I guess their conversations were more important.
Poor customer service Customer service YUCK!! Why?? Walked in and stood at the back to talk to someone about team uniforms..........They ignored me like I wasn't there! Also one time a while back...they had a little dog that tried to attack me! No black visors and they didn't know when they would order! It took 6 months before getting them! But don't ask about it because you might affend them! I wish there was another sports store in the area!
Never had better treatment I shop at Denton Athletics quite regularly and to be honest, I was really surprised at the poor review that Tonie gave. I get treated very well there. The manager Larry is always kind and accommodating and the staff are alway friendly willing to help me out. Tonie must have come in on a really bad day.
Makes no Sense!! I have to agree with the poor customer service. I understand you hire kids , but they should at least be trained to greet customers and practice very basic customer skills. Also, it is unacceptable to rely on 1 person to know how to work the printing dept you have. I went there with my son and was told I could only have block letters because the 1 and only person they have was not there and nobody else including the manager knows how to work the computer to print out other numbers and letters. BOO! Customer Service Positives: +Pretty good selection in a variety of sports +Prices are average Negatives: +Customer Service is TERRIBLE - they act as if you are inconveniencing them to make a purchase there. I have not dealt with them on larger purchases for team sports, but I assume that is the only way they stay in business. Note to Ignorant Customer Wow, aren't you a smart one. I find it pathetic that you have found it necessary to criticize and insult the manager. The manager at least knows how to conduct himself like a professional; something that you lack. He responded professionally and appropriately and you lowered yourself to the point of mocking him. Congrats! (By the way your grammar is laughable as well.)
Poor Service I have tried multiple times to shop and every time if I need to ask someone something it seems as if itâs a interrupted and get blown off. Specifically the last time I was in the store I have asked about baseball bats trying to upgrade from another high quality bat I had purchased there the year before and they were no help. 3 guys at the back counter gossiping about how they were shipped the wrong shoes from a manufacture and not have to pay for them and charge more than they should for them so they would not... read more
store manager I am the store manager of Denton Athletics. I just had a customer call and tell me to look at this site, he thought it was something I needed to see. I told him after being in business for just short of seven years having only three people upset enough to go to the computer and blast us was not too bad.To Joel,Sandy and Philip I would tell them I am sorry for their bad experience.
