Very good, friendly, affordable! It might be hard to find a better veterinarian Denton. I never experienced a big crowd in the waiting room and the doctor always saw my pet. Plus, his fees are very good.
Great and Affordable When I first got my kitten he was extremely sick a lot with diarrhea and vomiting, I could not control it and no medicine they gave me could either. So they volunteered to keep him for me until they could get him well. They kept him there for about a week and a half and treated him like their own pet. Each of the young guys that work there gave him special attention and let him run around the office during the day while they were there and my baby loved it there, they were like his family. Denton Animal Hospital is NOT great I had read the reviews before I made an appt. there. The reviews said it was reasonable. I do not agree. My dog had diarrhea and the bill was $85 . The place feels like you go back in time. The secretary was typing on a typewriter I believe. I was NOT impressed and we will not go back.
Best value Called around to have one of my cats declawed, Denton Hospital was half the cost as anywhere else. They did a great job with no problems.
Rude, Get what you pay for I will never darken the door of this facility again. I am certain that Dr. Layh has people that really like him because he has been helpful with THEIR pet and his rates ARE in fact affordable. But you get what you do get what you pay for. He IS in fact very rude, despite initially coming across as very pleasant. I read where he gave too much medicine to someone else's animal, and he did that with mine as well. Worst and rudest Vet Ive ever come across I bought a new puppy on Monday took her to have her dewormed on thursday and he refused to deworm her because I couldnt afford to get her shots that day I had made an appointment that following week to get her shots. He told us that we needed to get our finances in order really wow and told us he was tired of dealing with these parvo puppies , my dog jus needed to b dewormed . Old Fashion Vet with Low Prices I had a good experience there. I took my dog in who was acting very sick, lethargic, not eating or drinking. He examined her, asked about what we had been doing the last few days and what she had been eating, etc. After doing that and taking her temprature (105, high) he determined she had some sort of infection. We've found a new vet for sure............. Our little MinPin got "down in her back" and was trembling in pain and would not eat for days. Dr. Layh eased her pain, immediately with an injection and pills to take for several days. I had damaged her stomach with tiny bits of baby aspirin to ease her pain and then she would not eat or drink. His pink concoction and a blood builder has her back to her normal, spunky self. Four Chances, Very Little Satisfaction We gave Dr. Layh four chances with our dogs after hearing that he gives financial leniency to college kids with little saved income. The only satisfactory treatment my dogs got was when he administered vaccinations. The other visits went as follows:
