Won't be Back! I took my 15 year old cat in to see Dr. Layh. It was near the end of the day but I had an appointment. My cat was losing weight fast and looked like she didn't feel well. Everyone seemed very rushed and "The Doc" came in barely even looked at her and decided to give a steroid and a round of anti-biotics saying we would need to do blood work tomorrow because my cat would have to be sedated and it would take all day. Love this clinic !!! Accurate diagnosis, knowledgeable treatment, caring staff, animal lovers! Reasonable prices. Yes, decor lacks but vet tech held my dog in his arms, offered to carry her to car but of course she jumped into my arms. Tech walked us to car anyway and opened door, made sure she was settled before leaving us. Easy to get appts, same day if needed. They remember my car and name so no waiting. Will provide as much (or as little) info as you want on procedures. I have no negative experiences. My permanent Vet!
Lets be realistic. After reading several negative reviews I feel compelled to write my own. I have been taking my animals to Denton Animal Hospital since 1995. Dr. Leigh is a strait shooter, and a country boy. He writes your ticket on paper and he will tell you what he thinks not what you want to hear. Worth It I found a 4 week old kitten in the middle of a deserted road. I didn't have a lot of money, but I needed to get him checked out and give him a good home. This clinic was recommended by a friend, and she said they were afordable. I called and they got me right in, and quoted me a VERY reasonable price. Pleasant vet and staff, affordable care Seems the layout and age of the waiting area was bothersome to some reviewers. Maybe a coat of white paint? I don't have a licensure in interior design though, I an a teacher and a single parent. The age of the facility is a money saver in my opinion. Please make sure you monitor your dog after a surgery with this vet... I thought this was an average doctor until I had my dog spayed by him. The day I picked up our dog was awful. She was in so much pain that she could barely move and would not eat or drink anything. I figured this was fairly normal as she had just had surgery so I did not really question it. Fantastic Service, Healthy Cat! Service was fast, prices were low, and our kitty is better than ever! The office was spotless with an aquarium and a beautiful collection of healthy plants in the window. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
