Update: After a recent appointment I would NOT recommend this dentist. Had 4 teeth filled and had problems right from the get go. Went back to get the problems rectified and haven't been the same since (Won't bore you with the details). Will NOT be going back and thanks for messing up my teeth! Not the same dentist I went to for a number of years. Maybe it's time to hang the drill up. Dr.Ed is fantastic! I can't believe I waited so long to get my teeth properly cared for. Feels so much healthier. He is incredibly careful and kind, and all of the staff are the same. Dentistry at its best!
Nothing catastrophic happened to me but each time was a bad experience for different reasons. Generally inattentive and aloof environment (front desk is nice though). I usually grit through the pain because the multiple rounds of local freezing doesn't seem to work very much. Fillings have fell out months later. I feel they used to be a lot better years and years ago.
I strongly advise - honestly, beg of anyone reading this - look elsewhere for any dental work. The Dentists at any Saskatoon Smiles office have no regard for their patient's safety and will be covered legally by the owner Wes Antosh. The College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan Complaint Case #20-46 Dr Alpna Krisgnaswamy & Dr Wes Antosh. Nothing but great experiences. Dr. Mahan reminds me of Santa Claus, not because of his looks alone, but he's kind, jolly, calm man and seems like he really enjoys what he does.
