Absolutely THE worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!
very poor plan; pays almost nothing when you have a dental problem
DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE! The premium is $444/ year and on their website it says that pay 90-100% of out of network dentists. I submitted a bill for $312.50, and they paid $37. So they have a "Maximum Contract Allowance" per item that is way less then what the dentist charges, then there is a $50 detectable that is not disclosed on their website, so they basically have this rigged so they do not have to pay and you pay for the premium that covers a tiny percentage of the bill.....the website does not disclose this and so it... read more
Don't really cover anything and are misleading. Had a huge dental bill for basic, preventative services that I thought were going to be more covered.
This company is covering nothing. They have a misleading statement that non-network providers are covered at 90% for basic services like yearly checkup and cleaning , however they apply it to their own contract rate which is 3 times less that an average in a dentistry (Seattle area) so you got nothing.. I wouldn't dare to visit providers who accept this rate.. Stay away from this company
I am trying to pay my bill and ask a question about it, but the website is not very use friendly. I have emailed customer service twice (since their customer service number is not in my time zone and by the time I am off work they are closed) and called their number finally just to be disconnected! Zero stars for customer service!
Dentegra is basically just a scam unless you are a teenager. I had this policy for two years before I had it pointed out to me that it literally covers absolutely nothing unless you are under the age of 19... I regret wasting my money on this insurance as the cost of the co-pays is more than the cost of cleanings / exams out of pocket.
