At noon, for lunch, this place is buzzing with excitement, happy customers, friendly attentive staff, great looking sushi. Can't wait to dive in.
The Japanese spirit is really alive in here. The service and the food is one of the most fulfilling experience that I have ever felt and tasted before.
The sushi I had ordered was beautiful and ingredients used were fresh. However, the rolls were so big that it turned into a sloppy mess when trying to eat. The shrimp in the rolls also wasn't left as is, but rather minced and mixed with a mayo which I'm not a fan of. Others in my party seemed to love the food, but also commented on the too big portion size of the sushi. Would go back due to flavors but will try other dishes.
This is the best sushi restaurant in the area. The staff are very friendly and I really enjoy eating in and getting take out.
We ate at Densetsu for the first time a couple months ago. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. All the fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The owner was quick to let us know what he thought would be the best things to try, and he was right, everything he recommended was perfect.
It IS the best sush & shashime eatery in north Dallas and probably in all of greater Dallas. The service is exemplary and the food divine. They are open late and the restaurant is small & cozy. It is romantic and the menu is extensive, but not expensive. The tuna tower is not on the menu, but well worth asking for. The baked salmon roll is a favorite and the green tea ice cream is super. Enjoy.
We have visited twice and both times the food quality and service were exceptional. The first time I walked in the door I was skeptical about a new business and only intended to pick up a menu. However, the staff offered such a warm welcome we decided to stay for lunch. I have recommended Densetsu to others who in turn have been equally enthusiastic about this very cozy restaurant. Overall, this was a true 5 Star experience and worth the 14 mile drive from my home.
I'm a full time college student in College Station so I don't get to eat a lot of great sushi very often. EVERY TIME I come home to visit my parents I insist on going here. It hasn't been open long but I've come home 3 times since they opened and each time is a treat, thanks in BIG part to this restaurant. Best sushi & sashimi place in the Dallas area! Try the salmon & ahi tuna. The "spider rolls" are one of my favorites. Lots on the menu to choose from and let them make a suggestion. It will be wonderful. They give large & beautiful portions and mix a fine drink. The service is spectacular. Full of fun energy. Justin, Gina, Jay & Chris are awesome!
