Purchased a vehicle and it overheated about 3 days after purchase. I called and it was after hours. Called again today and was told if I would have towed it in that day they would cover tow repair. It was a leak in coolant reservoir. I requested to replace tank myself and save money for a tow and young man said “we don’t do that” and kept cutting me off with “have a nice day!” He did this about 3 times. What a jerk! I had a horrible customer experience p. Their sales manger complained to me and said he was not going to sell me a car for doing what I was asked to do. I was told to bring up any issue on a car to see what they could correct to make a deal. I have extensive experience in the automotive industry and saw lots of issues with their used cars. I spoke with sales person Rafael ****** over a two day period, I came in on the first day and had my wife come in the following day to test drive a 2021 Atlas R line. After the dealership made the initial offering Rafael asked me for a counter offer which he said was to low. A couple hours later he sent me a text saying he had been working on Mike ****** the sales manager and had a deal I would like. We went to the pre-owned dealership at 14104 N Freeway yesterday to check out a vehicle. We really liked it and texted back and forth with our salesperson last night and came to a deal that his manager agreed to at 8PM. I asked the sales person if we could call him with a $500 cc deposit in the morning and come out on Monday to complete the deal and he said that was fine. Untrustworthy, I had a horrible experience at the Demontrond Kia. This was the second time going there and it was worst than the last time. The first time I went here the finance guy told me that the lifetime warranty was optional but they would not sale me a vehicle without me buying a warranty. (is that not illegal?) This why I hate auto dealerships. I took my wife’s Mazda 5 in for a oil change to DeMonrond Mazda in Clear Lake. The oil change at the dealer is actually cheaper than the quick lube places. They wrote up $4,500 in “Repairs.” They wanted to change every fluid in the the car including all my blood, sweat, and tears to boot! I think they also wanted to replace my spinal fluid because it was “deteriorated.” Of course, if you look at the actual maintenance schedule for the car, none of these fluid changes are called for. They advertise that they are the home of the "Forever Warranty". Forever is a better description of how long it will take you to get your car repaired if it falls under this warranty. They have had my vehicle for 7 weeks and still have not fixed it. Employees will not call me back after they have promised to and can't seem to talk to anyone higher on the food chain. So much for guarding your businesses reputation and the customer coming first.

The service department is inefficient. I made an appointment to have a repair. When I left my ***** for the service, the work was supposed to be completed in a day. Three days later, ***** was still waiting for a part that they failed to order. It took almost a week for the repair to be made. The manager is ineffective and either cannot or will not train his team. He is as inefficient as the team. This morning, I had an appointment made a week and a half ago for a recall repair.
