Stopped in out of the rain.. Beautiful place with great beer
Incredible place! Just around the corner from the Godfrey hotel. Craft beer and awesome food. The Consummate Rioter IPA is wonderful, but the 1919 Strike stout rivals Guinness. And the Shepherd’s Pie is amazing. Brett at the bar is a true beer sommelier. And a huge Red Sox fan! Love it.

An employee owned business. Everybody really cares, excellence demonstrated in everything thing they do. Had three very different and very awesome beers, an English Bitter, an Oatmeal Stout, and an IPA brewed with Peruvian coffee, all excellent. Top notch food from an all-scratch kitchen. Great nachos with guacamole. A+ service. Stop here when you can.

Yummy beers and nice atmosphere
Visiting from MKE, a friend told us about Democracy Brewing and it was exactly what we needed. Super inviting space and just easy place to be, which is important to me when I travel. Some really surprising and delicious beer, Bruins and Red Sox were on, and we ended up sharing a pretzel and Mac and cheese. It was a perfect end to the day. Cheers!
