Buyer beware! Delta Dental Federal Program paid to have a tooth pulled, then denied paying for an implant because it was "missing" and a "congenital defect." The tooth was not missing until it was removed under Delta Dental's insurance plan. Unfortunately, I also have no recourse until I pay for the implant out of pocket and then I can appeal, so I'm stuck with a missing tooth, that wasn't actually missing. DO NOT pay for their high plan - for what I've paid them this year I could have just paid for my own implant.
Last year I signed up with Delta Dental. Then in 2017 I chose your Delta again but went with a different plan. For some reason my plan never got switched even though I tried everything to fix it I was continually being billed for my old plan. I even made a three way call with Delta, myself and a government agent from Healthcare.*** who verified to the Delta agent that I had signed up for a different plan this year.
