In 1827, at the beginning of New York City's evolution as the financial center of the world, the genesis of what would become a world-renowned culinary institution, Delmonico's Restaurant, was set. Phenomenal steak, excellent service enjoyed every second, unfortunately there was a miscommunication between us and our waiter and our leftover steaks were not saved, we were very disappointed by this. They did offer us a discount but we would have much rather had the leftover steak than a discount on our bill. Overall we had a great meal and would love to come back, although I would love to be eating my leftover steak today.
Delmonico’s is a NYC treasure made famous by the Tucci’s since prohibition through the 1980’s. Their tradition of serving fantastic, dry aged Delmonico steaks continues.
Service was great and the food was delicious.
Brilliant place. Will be going again each time I’m in New York.
