RecommendedThey were great. My dog had to have surgery and they kept in touch with us the entire time. They’re not only great with the animals but they’re able to handle a delicate situation with the owner when emotions are high. I feel like the saved my dogs life. I highly recommend them to anyone.

This is the worst they literally mutilated our kitten who was coughing ( he had bronchitis) but they told us he was dying and had a stomach blockage -but the kitten was really put through a horrible operation and a staff member said to us THIS WAS A UNNECESSARY SURGERY, your cat did not have anything blocking anything! We were like whaaa? Yes it was a mutilation now kitty has a high fever less that 24 hours later a bloated belly and they refused to help him now WHAAA? Dr. Riley and the staff at Delmarva Animal Emergency Center were amazing. Our dog and the neighbor’s dog got into a fight during the end of December and we drove straight to the emergency center where they took great care of my baby Dexter. The before pictures are a little graphic but he’s doing so much better and he looks great! We can’t thank the crew at Delmarva Animal Emergency Center enough. Thank you!!!
Brought my cat in who suddenly had no use of his back legs. I am very thankful that the vet on duty was Dr. Gross. He explaned my cat had thrown a blood clot. Even though it was a sad night because Casper had to be euthanized, it was easier on this pet guardian because he explained the illness and genuinely was sorry this had happened to such a beautiful gentle cat. I appreciated his 30 yrs of experience and his compassion.
The staff were wonderful! Very caring and thorough with my 11 week old puppy last night. I appreciate the care they provided. ♡
