Long time customer more impressed than ever! – I have been a customer of Delivered Dish off and on for about 5 years. I moved away about 2 years ago and just returned to Portland in July. I read on their blog that they have added a bunch of new restaurants in the past year, so I was very excited to use them again. I love this service! – I am not one to usually write reviews, but I feel I must write one to reccomend Delivered Dish. I order from them a few times per week. The food is always great and the service is even better. My order is always delivered on time and hot. The drivers are just so much friendlier than the usual delivery guys from Dominos or Papa Johns. My delivery prayers have been answered!!! – I order take-out or delivery 5 to 7 nights a week. In downtown Portland my choices have always been pizza or Chinese. A couple of weeks ago I got my Delivered Dish Menu Guide in the mail. While I was not impressed by their web site, I decided to give them a try anyways. Too many chances ... – The first time I ordered from Delivered Dish, it was a wonderful experience .. prompt, hot food, complete order. The second time I ordered, there was an error in my order and an item was missing even though I was charged for it. I called and was told that a credit would be made to my account, the amount of the item refunded, and the delivery driver would come back with the missing item. Best delivery ever! – I used these guys for the first time on Friday night and had no idea what to expect.....WOW was I surprised. When I first talked to someone on the phone they said it was going to be about an hour and they were here in about 45 minutes. I ordered from Chili's and got my burger and dessert in about the same time as it would have taken the guy from Domino's. Great idea. I will be ordering more from you really soon...You have a customer for life.
Indigestion without consumption – Unreliable. A company lacking in friendly communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and integrity. I ordered food with NO Spice. The food from Lemon Leaf was so spicy I threw it away. The resolution/customer service department was disrespectful and unresonable. They didn't get back to me as they said they would. Said I wasn't in their computer. Fortunately I had a hard copy of my receipt for proof. After nearly a month and several phone calls there has been no resolution.
Awesome Idea; Better Service – I travel a lot and have used these types of services in many cities, I have always found them to be just okay. Tonight when I returned home to Portland I was suprised to find a menu in the mail from Delivered Dish. I gave them a try. very cold food :( – This was my first time using DD. And I was not so thrilled with it, my food took over an hour on a monday night. So I tried calling the # several times, and go a fax machine or something. Then when the food came, it was COLD! And they had forgot my drink that I paid 1.25 for! Basically just not happy. Oh and the steak was...not cooked at all(which is the restaurants fault I know.) I will not use this service again, only because mexican food does not taste good when it's less than room tempature.
