Just not what it used to be. Sandwich’s not as meat filled, filthy dirty, and unappealing atmosphere.
Best Reuben on the planet. I don’t live in Boise, but every time I come to visit, I eat here. I always eat the Reuben. Best Reuben on the planet.
The place was clean, staff was great. Sandwiches were pricey and just ok. Skip the potato salad and macaroni salad. Besides being pricey they were average at best.
I ordered a Philly.. it had lettuce and mayo on it.. and the bread was overly charred, I like that flavor but this was a little too long. Meat was tasty but not even the right portion to fill the bread.. it was easily the worst Philly I’ve ever had. I topped it off with a skunky beer. The people were wonderful and it’s a cool little bar like atmosphere
