Excellent food and service – I have eaten at Deleece several times and every time has been better than the last. The food is tasty and innovative and the restaurant itself is welcoming and trendy without trying too hard. This is the perfect friendly neighborhood place. Good for dates; good for groups of friends-- I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great Dining Experience! – I tried Deleece for the first time last night and had an amazing time! Our server was great - she was super knowledgeable about the menu, wines and even the art hanging on the wall. We started with the potstickers and the sauce is so good you should keep it around after you've finished for dipping the bread! The butter lettuce salad was delicious, and the salmon and lamb were both wonderful dishes as well. I was very pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

Relaxing Atmosphere. – We discovered Deleece several months ago and have tried it for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. We truly enjoy the food and the overall relaxing atmosphere. My favorite is the lamb, cooked to perfection and enjoyed with the servers recommended Merlot which was excellent and a generous pour. The only lacking experience we had was when we sat outside. The service just didn't seem to equal that of inside seating. We were told there was some confusion about who's table it was. The server we lost due to "te... read more

great service! great food! – Deelce exceeded my expectations. Our great experience started with wonderful service and ended with great food and wine. Plus they have an outdoor eating area - perfect for summer dinning.

$20 for a 3-course meal, best deal in the city – I recently returned to Deleece after not having been in awhile. The food is better than ever. Lots of delicious specials, lots of changes to the menu. I had the duck breast with ravioli filled with a pea and duck confit. Excellent, it melts in your mouth. My husband had the caramelized salmon with the very tasty black rice covered in a pear-ginger sauce. Everyone at our table loved their dishes. The place looks great. Warm and inviting. Refreshing to dine somewhere and waiter ... read more

Bad after once being SO good! – Deleece is no longer the consistently tasty place it once was. Since the new management came in, we had one marginal experience but went back thinking that was an isolated incident only to be surprised by possibly the worst evening at dinner we've had in years. Unattentive service and poorly prepared food (the pork chop that was ordered turned out to be a tenderloin that was seared at best) are apparently part of the new regime at Deleece. Nothing about the meal was good for any of the four ad... read more

mediocre – the menu is limited for a neighborhood place like this...it seems to struggle between casual and upscale. the food falls just short of pretenious. the service was as good as you'd expect in any restaurant. the penne arrabiata was totally bland, but the other meals were good.

Best Dining Experience for Years – I went with my girlfriend and sat outside in the lovely lakeview neighborhood restaurant. The service was the best I'd had in two years and the food was absolutely exquisite. It gets a bit noisy inside on weekends, but other than that, you can't go wrong here.

Love It ! – Deleece is my favorite restaurant in town. Its got a neighborhood feel but the food is purely 5-star. The menu is creative and everything is prepared elegantly. I take all of my out of town friends here because it embodies the true spirit of Chicago dining: Spectacular food presented creatively in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Don't miss it.
