I have seen Dr. Joe Papp for years now, and he is a highly competent dentist. Recently, I needed to get an old retaining wire fixed, and Denise worked me into their busy schedule on the same day I called. Dr. Massa was there that day, and confirmed the fix should be done and was straightforward. Carrie made the fix and it is now good as new. I want to thank all the staff for quickly and successfully fixing the problem, and in a very friendly visit!

I came here to update my once 5 star review for this practice. I debated even writing a review but I don’t think it’s fair to others when researching dentists to not have the chance to see updated reviews. What once was top not service has turned sub par. I went from being a patient they cared about to a number on their billing records. I had a cleaning scheduled for 7/10/20. During the cleaning, the light they use to see inside my mouth never worked and their powered hand tools stopped working when they were only 50-60% done cleaning my teeth so they didn’t finish (apparently it was a sub but a person well seasoned in their career). I even said, please don’t rush just make sure you have the tools you need. When Dr. Papp (practice owner) came in to do my exam, he only looked at my front teeth where I asked if I had a chip from being intubated recently. He didn’t preform the oral cancer screen, or look at my back molars where the previous dentist said they needed to keep a close eye on a couple “staining spots”. This is minor but I also asked for bleach (store bought isn’t as safe) and non sensitive toothpaste. No bleach, sensitive toothpaste, of course when I looked in my bag at home. It was just the cherry on top that made me feel like just another number or cash opportunity and not like they cared about me as a patient. I had planned on telling the billing person at the end of my appointment about my issues/concerns during the appointment in the private office but I was escorted to the main lobby where other patients were waiting. I didn’t feel it was appropriate to address the situation there because I wanted to give them an opportunity to amend the situation. I waited until the end of the day to contact them via their website’s contact form so I wasn’t unnecessarily harsh from my annoyance. I waited until Wednesday for them to contact me. Nothing. I then called the office, the office manager was out of the office and I was promised a phone call back the next day. Never happened. I called my insurance company and sure enough they had submitted a claim for the services they did not complete several days prior (almost immediately). I will be paying out of pocket for the services to be completed again while my insurance handles the dispute for total payment of services not rendered. I will be finding a new permanent dentist after being at this practice almost my entire adult life. I’m very disappointed and sad in how one of my favorite practices is now being managed. Dr. Papp, Dr. Massa and the whole staff here are absolutely amazing. My daughter doesn't like going to the dentist due to a horrible experience with another office. Dr. Massa was so amazing with her. She had to get a cavity filled and was just so comfortable with the whole process. Thank you guys so much!!
