Delaney Chevrolet opened its doors at 626 Water Street on July 19, 1971, but the Chevrolet Dealership has been in business here since 1928, when it was Edwards Motors. That store was purchased by Ernie Stafford, and in 1963 Jack Delaney became a salesman for Stafford Chevrolet. He then moved to Pittsburgh, where he sold for Baierl Chevrolet in Wexford, PA. I went in for a routine repair but I got way more than I asked for. Without even consulting me they put in a $650 part that they admitted would not even fix my car. When I asked them to remove the part because I didn't want to pay for it they told me I had to pay for the car or they would have it impounded.
