Deland Kia Service Department Is horrible. The service advisors have a pick of people they want to serve & be friendly to. I have had to speak to several service managers about the customer service skills & they have not gotten any better. Every time I go I feel uncomfortable & dread getting my car serviced by Kia. I have called corporate & have a long wait to report the issue so I end up hanging up. I'm seriously thinking about selling the car & going to another dealership.

Mrs. ******** was in on 8/31/2022 as a walk-in because her gas door wouldn't open. My service advisor greeter her and came right to me (the service manager), after finding out the issue. I got the vehicle into the shop within 10 minutes and as luck would have it we had the part in stock to fix Mrs. ********s issue. We had her in and out in about 30 minutes. The complaint that I have is that I bought a new 2022 Kia Nyro and I'm having problems with it and reporting it to Kia the main office and to the complaint department and seeing the dealer in person are still not fixing the car satisfactory I would suggest not buying a car at DeLand kia

I have not dealt with buying a car at this dealership. I have only dealt with the service department, one particular service advisor in general. I bought my 2017 Kia Cadenza from Carmax with 3,400 miles on it. 2 months after buying it, we discovered the passenger seat heater was not working. I took it to this dealership because it is still under manufacture warranty. It took 2 weeks to schedule the appointment. I take it down there and they diagnose it as a faulty switch. Unfortunately we are going through the same thing everyone in the country is and it is very hard to get parts, and we are a very buys dealership so our appointments are out a little ways. As you know the seat heater was working when you left so there would been no reason to put an additional part in, but do apologies that you did have to return but thankfully everything was covered under warranty. I visited the Deland Kia to look at a Kia Stinger. I test drove the car and there were some issues with the car and I told them I would not buy it with the current issues. Everyone assured me that the issues are 100% fixable. I reluctantly agreed to buy the car. As I was waiting for financing to be approved, I decided I did not want the car. I told my sales person, that I decided against buying the car. He just passed me from person to person so that I couldn't address my issue. Dealership claims to have put an $1100. WRAP on my used car that looks like they just put car thru car wash. They claim nothing will stick to body of car. Can't keep car clean just sits in carport. They also said they have a couple of places to put a trailer hitch on the car after the sale they only deal with uhaul and because of covid can't get hitch anywhere. i would of gave it a zero but i couldn't i drove all the way to Deland from Orlando about a car they set me up with a sales guy name Roberto Casanova and he was sooooo pushy rude and just so unperfectional i cried !!! i am a 60-year-old lady who wanted to trade in my 2019 mirage for a kia soul well he showed me one that i liked and it said 23,000 on the sticker well to make a long story short he asked me for my keys to my car well my car is keyless and in the car and i told him it dont use a key all the sudden he jumps up an... read more

They prey on the weak and don't lookout for the clients financial well being. They are just looking to make a sale and meet numbers. They don't believe in doing the right thing.

My 88 year-old grandfather came in to this location a few days ago to have his 4 year-old Kia serviced, and a salesman named John convinced him that he needed to buy a brand new car that he doesn't need, doesn't want, and can't pay for. They told him it would take 4-5 days to fix his car's problem (they never explained to him what it was, and never actually put the car on a lift to inspect his complaints), and that he would have to pay for a rental car to get home in the meantime, despite mentioning "shuttle service" and "lo... read more

If I could give 1 star I would. This is a going to be a little long but it is worth the read. I had taken my 2019 Kia Forte for repairs due to a indicator light coming on. They had tried to fix it to no prevail. They advised to allow a mechanic take it over night as the light only came on during the very early mornings. I was told the mechanic would be able to hook it up to a diagnostic when the light came on to read the code. Which was a lie. I dropped it off and still no word a week later. Yes we did call the customer to ask to take the vehicle home over the weekend to try to get the light that has been bothering to come on seeing as it was her 3rd time in to try to get this issue fixed, the first 2 times we could not duplicate her concern. So being that we wanted to help the guest in anyway possible we asked if we could take it home over the weekend to try to get it to come on.
