Del Mar Dog Beach is one of the best dog-friendly destinations in San Diego in my opinion as an owner of many pups over the years. The beach is beautiful, well maintained, and offers plenty of space for dogs and their owners to walk along the ocean and sand. An amazing dog beach where you can off leash your dogs and play with them. We have been taking our dog here for months now and he absolutely loves it. There are off leash dogs everywhere so be careful as not all dogs are friendly. We never had a bad incident with our dog but I have seen some owners not being careful with their reactive dogs much. So if you are responsible dog owner, I would highly recommend this going to this beach!
North Beach (affectionately known as Dog Beach) in Del Mar is hands down one of the absolute best dog-friendly beaches in Southern California. If you want to see pure, unadulterated canine joy, this is the place to be.
