The women of Del Mar Birth Center are simply amazing! While this was for our second child, it was our first experience at a birth center and with midwives and I would do it again for a future child given the opportunity. From my first call and email to the Del Mar Birth Center, Dawnia was so helpful in answering my questions and scheduling a tour at our convenience. This was my first pregnancy and the whole process felt daunting and at times overwhelming. The staff of Del Mar felt like family, and were so thorough and attentive during our pregnancy and birth of our son. Delivering here was the best decision we could have made! If you're even remotely curious about delivering with midwives in a birthing center, pay them a visit you'll be so glad you did. Even if just to know the option exists!
