I have used Del-air numerous times over the past 20+ years with good success. Bought (2) systems from them, the latest in 2023. This 2 year old system stopped working and the experience with Del-air has been frustratiing, to put it kindly. The system is still under warranty. Del-air has misinfomed me, insulted me, missed appointments, and failed to follow through. I have been without AC for 10 days, so far, and have no idea what Del-air intends to do. **EDIT BELOW** Another case of "should have done my research." I assumed a big name like Del-Air was big for a good reason, but that's far from the case. Here's my timeline: July 12, 2024: I paid $10,700 for a brand new system installation including a 3-ton unit that Harley, the sales guy, recommended. September 3, 2024: Water has been leaking heavily from the air handler in the garage. Tech arrived and replaced adapter and used sealant. Trash company. After waiting 6 hours today, i receive a call from the tech at 10pm stating they can't come out tonight. They were kout yesterday and didn't fix it properly. Now i have to take a day off of work tomorrow and wait.In addition, they always tell you one price and than you get another. Their extended warranty is useless. Worst company in America!!!! Deserve to go out of business
Shern came today for the second time for a problem with my ac unit. He is an outstanding customer service representative as well as technician. Not only did Shern quickly diagnose the problem, but he gave me as a homeowner a great education on why and how my system works and how to ensure it is working at its best.
I recently had an appointment for AC leaking water an appointment from 10-noon and flooding my garage. At noon I called to find an ETA (couldn't give one, but co firmed they would definitely be out)). I called back at 3 pm and then got a text from Del`Air. ‘Hello from Del-Air. We regret to inform you that your appointment scheduled for today8/1 with arrival timeod 10:00 am to 12 pm must be rescheduled due to high demand of families without cooling today.
