I took a 1988 Evinrude 15hp in for a new impeller installation on a Wednesday, and the owners called on Saturday saying it was ready for pickup. The nice lady at the business even sent a video to my phone showing the motor running and pumping water like new. The service was excellent and the charge very reasonable. It is hard in my area to find a business willing to work on older motors, but these folks do and it was a pleasure to work with them, I would definitely recommend them for any boating/motor need you may have.
Terrible customer service. Stay away from this boat repair shop.

They took some time with me on a very minor issue, and ended up having a great conversation with you all for about a half hour. DeKalb was recommended to me by friends, and I will recommend them to others. I’ll trailer my boat past other shops to bring it down here in the future. That’s as good an endorsement as there is!
Recently had my 1990 Hydro Sport bass boat worked on. It had a problem taking off. I was reluctant to take it to a shop because of what it might cost. I searched around and because of the good reviews and the length of time in business I chose to give DM a try. They diagnosed the problem and with my approval they fixed the problem. they also did some routine maintenance and when they finished the total bill was very reasonable. my wife and I went fishing just last Saturday and the boat ran great we were both very pleased. If anybody looking for electric boat dekalb marine have one for $3,500 and if anybody needs to get they boat work on this is the place good service and friendly
