If you feel like you are not being listened to about your pet's illness here, I highly recommend seeking out a different opinion. This vet will continue to run the same tests over and over again and drain your wallet, and never give any other suggestions or look deeper into the issue. Also, bedside manner is terrible here. First visit was reasonable price for my two kittens. The vet said we had to come back and see the tech in 3 weeks for more vaccines. When we came for the 3 week shots an emergent pet came in and they asked us to reschedule. Day before the rescheduled appointment they are now quoting $166 per cat for follow up vaccines. Stated they have to see the doctor again because kittens change quickly. Rescheduling wasnt our fault and I can’t afford the vet fee again. Ridiculous service here.. beware
I have used Broad Street Veterinary for my dog Sasha several times. She has gone in for grooming and for checkups. They are so much better than Petsmart or one of the big pet stores. Everybody was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to use them as long as I'm in Richmond.
Dr. Colman, the team and the front desk staff are all awesome. We always feel welcome and well cared for. Thanks for taking great care of Douglas!!!
No one was on the same page nor did anyone communicate effectively. I took my kitten in to get neutered. It took multiple phone calls to get my appointment set up. The initial person I talked to was helpful but I got a call the next day asking to move the appointment time. I got a call the NEXT day saying I had to see a different doctor. It seems like the various receptionists did not communicate and no notes were taken during the SECOND 20 minute phone call.
