Over the course of a weeklong stay at Deerfield Dog Lodging, my dog developed a severe Acral Lick Granuloma and lost almost eight pounds (over 10%!) of her body weight. Not only were we not contacted about her wounds, the owner claimed to not even notice the dime-sized hole in her paw that we observed immediately upon picking her up!
TLC says it all.
