Didn't seem to be taken care of very well. Getting old.
This was my second stay here. Had a great time both stays. Staff was friendly & helpful. Room was clean, a little outdated but very homey feeling. I think the prices are a little expensive. They definitely need a little ice cream shop. I work in customer service. I have read some of the other reviews, & I think you have to keep in mind that some people are never happy or pleased. On both stays we had a very good time.
Deer Creek Lodge is a fantastic place for family, friends and those who want to hold conferences. The staff are very people friendly and very professional. I can't say enough to express how wonderful the facility and staff are.
So dirty all around! My tv didn't work and I couldn't call to complain because my phone didn't work either. Trash all over the ground inside and outside. 1 grill for the whole lodge. Very very disappointed.
Rooms are dirty. Staff is rude. Only one grill by the lodge. There are park rangers with binaculars watching girls in the pool. Poorly run star park.
We were there for my son's graduation from Parks and Watercraft academy and its is a very nice facility. We ate lunch after the ceremony at the restaurant in the lodge and it was very good with great service! We would love to come back sometime.
Deer Creek Lodge is a great place to visit or stay. Lots of thing to do, you see lots of critters, go swim, hike or just relax and enjoy the view.
What a beautiful place. My kids enjoyed every moment. There was something to do for people of all ages. The weather was perfect so we spent most of our time outside. The only reason I didn't give deer creek a 5star is due to the room. They need some work. However we spent very little time in the room. I will definitely be back and recommend to all friends and family. Also the staff was nice and accommodating!!!
