If I could give 10 stars I would. Ellen went above and beyond during our first appointment. I scheduled a prenatal visit to get questions answered and was hoping to build a relationship with someone I could lean on for help since this is my first baby. I left feeling confident, supported, and was given so much knowledge during our time together. I can tell she is very passionate about both mom and babies successes in the fourth trimester. Ellen is super knowledgeable and the best lactation consultant i have been to yet. I had latch issues with my first that never really resolved and we did not succeed in our breastfeeding journey despite seeing more than one lactation consultant. Now, with my second, we saw Ellen and she was super helpful in the first visit, with insight and tips that really helped while we waited/got ready for a tongue and lip tie release. I highly recommend working with Ellen. She’s been a tremendous help in my breastfeeding journey — from helping me cope with engorgement when my milk came in, assisting with latching difficulties and pain and also providing pumping tips. She’s so encouraging and kind. I was also pleasantly surprised my health insurance 100% covered her home visits!
I am so pleased with my lactation consultant, Ellen. I struggled with my firstborn resulting in me giving up after 3 months. I was determined with my 2nd that I would reach my breast feeding goals. I hired Ellen to help me obtain my goals. She is full of knowledge and offers great tips on how to breastfeed more easily. We came up with a plan together and she is providing me support.
