Thankful for Dr. Davidson's honesty and straightforwardness when it came to seeing my daughter for the first time. His honesty and candid approach to her situation is what gained my trust in his ability to be her Psychiatrist and "medication manager". The hard work comes outside of the office when you have to put yourself in the shoes of the person you are caring for to forge that closer bond and trust. He's a great doctor.listens to my issues, makes good recommendations and his staff rocks.
This is the worst experience I've had. After taking lithium for over 15 years, I followed this doctor Davidsons instructions to taper and discontinue this medication. I developed significant symptoms that affected me horrible, including dizziness, weakness, swelling, high blood pressure, and other concerning physical issues. The symptoms became severe enough that I had to go to the emergency room twice, neurologist and several times to the primary doctor. Absolutely the worst Mental Health provider I've experienced. Informed that a new medication was not working on 2/6, as asked to inform, that information was only sent to him 4 DAYS later, and his response did not come until THE 25TH OF THE MONTH, 19 FULL DAYS after informing him of the medicine not working. His response immediately slowed the kind of care he puts into his patients as that was to prescribe Abilify to a well documented diabetic, kidney cancer patient with chronic kidney disease and A1C issues.
