I have total trust in Dr. Deem. He has helped me and my entire family including my elderly uncle who was mentally delayed. My uncle had severe cataracts in both eyes and was nearly blind. Dr. Deem was the only doctor in his office who was able and willing to perform the necessary operation to restore his vision. The operation was a success. Dr. Deem is the best eye doctor. I have recommended him several times. I have total trust in Dr. Deem.

When I experienced sudden troubling visual problems in late March of 2020, Tacoma General's ER referred me to Dr. Deem. He saw me the next day, even though his office was closed for the pandemic. He determined that my problem was not retinal, but could well involve my carotid artery, and he instructed me to get an ultrasound. My wife and I have been patients for years, the wait time is never less then 45 minutes and has been as long as 1 hour 45 minutes. Followup calls as in a cat scan referral require several calls to get it done and more to get the results. On the positive side Dr Deem is a good communicator and seems through.

Dr Deem and his staff are exceptionally competent and caring. He's helped my family through retina problems, injuries, cataracts, and more. If you bear in mind that he ALWAYS makes time for emergency patients, you'll understand why there are occasional long waits. And be grateful if you're ever the one with the emergency. He's an excellent doctor and worth the wait.

I have been a patient for over 15 years. What sealed the deal is he came in on a holiday to treat my young daughter when she had severe eye pain. How many Drs come in on their day off on a holiday. He is a gentle loving man. He might run behind some days but waiting for his knowledge and service is worth it. His staff are pleasant and helpful.

he comes to the hospital and check on the little ones in the Nick unit, after seeing our son he found out that Garrett need laser surgery he preform the treatment there and kept checking on Garrett threw out his visit . my son can see now thanks to Dr.deem
